The Sports Report allows more than a sound bite for newsmakers beyond the court and sidelines on current or breaking local, regional and national sports stories. 
The Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships were hosted by Wichita State University at Cessna Stadium May 12th through 13th. The mens and womens team were favored to win. The women captured the title, while the men finished second.
