Haysville teen returns home Friday night

Missing teenager Sydney Austin returned to her home in Haysville just before midnight Friday.  A Facebook page and website were established to assist in the teenager's search.  She was seen getting into a green van or truck Monday afternoon.  Pastor Dennis Turner with Eastside Community Church spoke on behalf of the family Friday afternoon, and said the family believed even though Sydney may have gone willingly, she didn't know the full extent of what she was getting in to and could be in danger.

KFDI has attempted to find out from Haysville Police and the family more information about the disappearance of the teenager and where she was.  Family members have not returned calls to the KFDI News Room, and Haysville Police say, "A new release is not available."
