A major home construction project is headed for South Wichita.
Habitat for Humanity's " Habitat South Village" will consist of 45 homes near 43rd Street South and Hydraulic. Koch Industries has agreed to fund the first home with $60,000 and matching grants will be available for other potential sponsors.
The project gets under way June 17th through 25th during what's being called " Wonder Week " with six homes built in a week. Habitat Executive Director, Linda Stewart, said a group called the " Blitz Home Builders" have volunteered to help with construction.
