Police say the state's anti-stalking law led to the arrest of a 50-year-old man in Arkansas City Thursday. A 30-year-old woman had been reporting the incidents since June of this year. The suspect has since been released on $2,000 bond. Jody's Law went into effect July 1st. Its named after murdered 19-year-old Cowley Community College student Jodi Sanderholm. Currently, 25-year-old Justin Thurber is undergoing a mental evaluation to determine his competency to stand trial for Sanderholm's death.
